Welcome to Goat Chaos — where the goats move, multiply, switch herds and generally refuse to cooperate.
Created right here at When Goats Fly, Goat Chaos is a simple, colorful physical game built around the same tiny goat figurines we love sending out into the world.
Every player starts with an empty herd. Put 6 goats per player into the Goat Pen, choose one goat to become Opie, then take turns rolling the die.
Depending on the roll, goats may move left, move right, join your herd, multiply, help the smallest herd or go wherever you decide. When the Pen is empty, everyone gets one final turn and then the herds are scored.
One Goat Chaos set includes:
18 colorful goat figurines
1 six-sided die
Goat Chaos game box
Printed game rules
Enough goats for 2–3 players
Have a bigger herd of humans? No problem. Combine multiple Goat Chaos sets or add compatible Traveling Goats. Just keep the basic setup at six goats per player.
Scoring
Regular goat: 1 point
Opie: 3 points total
3+ goats of the same color: +2 for that color
4+ different colors: +3
